Information for presenters

Posters

Posters should be International Size A0 (1189 mm x 841 mm) or US Arch E (48″ x 36″). If you use other diverging formats, please ensure that your poster does not exceed these dimensions. Posters should be in portrait format. Otherwise, they will not fit the poster boards. Pins for mounting the posters will be provided.

To support you in the design of your poster, we provide a poster template. Use of this template is optional. Using your own / your institution’s design is completely fine (and encouraged).

Please set up your poster on the morning of your poster session day (either Wednesday or Thursday), during breakfast or the mid-morning break in the poster gallery. Your poster will remain on display there for the whole day. As a presenter, you are expected to be present near your poster during your designated poster session. Please retrieve your poster after the poster session (this is especially relevant for Wednesday as posters are also presented in poster session 2).

Please prepare for a 1-minute poster pitch on the day of your poster session.

Podium presenters (talks)

Each podium talk is 15 minutes. Plan on a 12 minute talk with 3 minutes for questions and changeover.

This needs to be strictly followed to maintain the conference schedule.

Please use a PowerPoint slide size of 16:9 (widescreen). For your slides the following file formats are supported: *.ppt *.pps *.pptx *.ppsx *.pdf.

Powerpoint presentations should be copied to the laptop in the room of presentation during the break before the start of the session at the latest. There will be technical support available in the session rooms.
